Value of Five, Vida Y Deportes Magazine, DIA Navigator, and a growing network of corporate and community partners are proud to present the 2018 World Cup Street Fair on Saturday, June 30, in Minneapolis.

Come celebrate the most popular sport in the world at our 2018 World Cup Street Fair at East Side Neighborhood Services from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Minneapolis on Saturday, June 30. This all-day festival is free to the public and has been organized with our local communities and soccer fanatics in mind. The purpose is to celebrate this great global event and allow families to enjoy an afternoon of food, music, games, and fun across several zones.

Attendees will enjoy a parade of World Cup nations, street soccer skills demonstrations, live musical and DJ performances, appearances from professional athletes, and—of course—the opportunity to enjoy the matches on a big screen or kick the ball around in a friendly tournament or skills clinic. In addition, there will be a variety of food and beverage vendors on hand (including in a designated beer garden), as well as exhibitors representing local businesses, organizations, and resources. Each event will be broken into the following zones:

  • Pitch Zone featuring open space for kids (and kids at heart) to show off their soccer skills and learn new ones in one of the World Cup Street Fair mini clinics.
  • Education Zone for exhibitors interested in sharing educational resources, services, programming, and enrollment information with K-12 families.
  • Exhibitors Zone featuring community resources and services from well-branded companies, organizations, and government agencies interested in reaching a diverse group of consumers or constituents.
  • Career Zone featuring companies, organizations, and state agencies interested in diversifying their workforces.
  • Health & Well-Being Zone featuring holistic and traditional health-related companies interested in connecting with our communities and promoting healthy living.
  • Entertainment Zone featuring live music, bands, DJs, a massive screen to view the World Cup, and a beer garden for adults to enjoy with a cold one.

Copa Mundial ($5,000 sponsorship)

  • Company name and logo in advertisements to be placed in Vida Y Deportes Magazine and seen by readership of up to 8,000 people; name mentioned on La RAZA Latino 1400 AM & Radio REY 630 AM radio over 100,000 listeners
  • Prominent recognition in two press releases distributed to mainstream and Hispanic media as well as over 8,000 DIA Navigator Magazine & Vida Y Deportes readers and partners.
  • Company logo placed on printed T-shirt distributed to organizers and event participants (youth tournament).
  • Company name and logo prominently placed on promotional posters and flyers (large logo size) to be displayed across the Twin Cities at a variety of well-trafficked locations.
  • Full-page color advertisement in the event program with event map to be placed in the event welcome package and given to over 3,000 event participants.
  • Prominent name and logo recognition on Value of Five & Vida Y Deportes websites which attract more than 5,000 unique users per month.
  • Company name and logo prominently placed on directional posters (large logo size) to be situated throughout the event, on the day of the event.

Major League Soccer ($3,000 sponsorship)

  • Company name and logo placed on promotional posters and flyers (medium logo size) to be displayed across the Twin Cities at a variety of well-trafficked locations and handed out to event participants.
  • Prominent recognition in two press releases distributed to mainstream media as well as over 8,000 DIA Navigator Magazine & Vida Y Deportes readers and partners.
  • Prominent name and logo recognition on Value of Five & Vida Y Deportes websites which attract more than 5,000 unique visitors per month.
  • Company logo placed on printed T-shirt distributed to organizers and event participants (youth tournament).
  • Half-page color advertisement in the event program with expo map to be placed in the event welcome package and given to over 3,000 event participants.
  • 2 six-foot tables and four chairs provided for company outreach and marketing initiatives.

Football Club ($500.00 sponsorship)

  • Companies will be able to exhibit their products and services to a diverse audience and participating event goers.
  • Companies can either bring their own tables and chairs or inquire about rentals for the day.
  • Company name and logo will be placed on promotional flyers (small logo size) to be displayed across the Twin Cities at a variety of well-trafficked locations and handed out to event participants.
  • Prominent recognition in two press releases distributed to mainstream media as well as to DIA Navigator Magazine & Vida Y Deportes readers and partners.
  • Name and logo recognition on DIA Navigator Magazine & Vida Y Deportes websites which attract more than 5,000 unique visitors each month.
  • Opportunity to provide giveaways or promotional products for event gift bags.
